Windfall's dancers fell at home

Windfall Dancers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization located in Bloomington on 1101 N. Dunn St. The history of the company dates as far back as 1978, when a modern dance collective formed under the name “Windfall Dancers.”

Activism through art encouraged by Coal-Free IU

The Beehive Design Collective, an organization committed to activism through art, will be making its way to Bloomington today. The group has spent the last two years preparing to show the world “The True Cost of Coal.”

Big band brings swing

The Arthur Murray Dance Studio had the Stardusters Swing Band’s “Let’s Dance” party Friday, and the Gleesons attended as part of their dancing routine.




IU vs. ILL

Illini defeat Hoosiers, 41-20

Following a 99-yard kickoff return from freshman Shane Wynn, IU led for the first 13 minutes of Saturday's game against Illinois. The Illini grabbed a 14-10 lead with 1:34 remaining in the first quarter and never looked back, eventually defeating IU 41-20.

Late Wednesday night, it was announced that Apple’s former CEO and co-founder Steve Jobs had died after a long struggle with pancreatic cancer, though the cause of death has not been officially released. On a campus filled with Apple products, Jobs' influence is undeniable.

IU Club Golf sets sights on national championships

The team placed fifth in its first round of regional play last weekend in Auburn, Ind. The team plays in the National Collegiate Club Golf Association and will compete for a spot at nationals Nov. 5-6 in Pinehurst, N.C.

Hoosiers, Illini have followed different paths

IU is tied with Minnesota for the worst record this season in the Big Ten at 1-4. The Illini, though, are a perfect 5-0 and fresh off a 38-35 comeback victory against Northwestern in their conference opener after a 7-6 season and bowl win last year.
