After a severe thunderstorm, 774 homes were left without power in the Bloomington and Ellettsville area, according to Duke Energy outage maps.
Areas in Bloomington without power include South Pleasant Ridge Road, North Blair Avenue, North Orris Drive and the area around Simtra Park.
Areas in Ellettsville without power include along West Woodyard Road, around Edgewood High School, at the intersection of West Reeves Road and South Sale Street and a section of neighborhoods between West State Road 46 and North Thomas Road.
The National Weather Service reported winds up to 60 mph and penny sized hail. A flash flood warning is also in place until 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning in southern Monroe County.
Duke Energy predicts that it will restore power by midnight to 1:00 a.m.
