A bit a bad news to pass along, IU coach Felisha Legette-Jack has suspended sophomore guard Haylie Linn from the team for behavior detrimental to the team. "We have high expections for our women's basketball program," said Legette-Jack.

Presenting...Gordon Elite
Eric Gordon is just one of the many recent basketball stars to come out of the state of Indiana. Now, the current Los Angeles Clippers guard is trying to pave the way for more Hoosier State natives hoping to follow in his footsteps. Both a 15- and 17-and-under Gordon Elite team will debut on the AAU circuit this spring, as reported by Brian Neubert of GoldandBlack.com.

Another interesting discussion on women's basketball
With the success that the Hoosiers have had so far this season, and partly due to the lack of success of the men's program people are starting to talk more about IU women's basketball. Many people are raising the questions how do other Big Ten schools rank highly in national attendance (Purdue was fifth last year and others are high on the list also) get the fans to come? Another question is whether women's basketball is boring?

Legette-Jack gets win #100 at Michigan State
The IU women's basketball (9-2, 2-0) beat the Spartans 62-48 Monday night in East Lansing, Michigan.
