The IU women's basketball (9-2, 2-0) beat the Spartans 62-48 Monday night in East Lansing, Michigan.

Even on a winter day when many students were gone for break the Spartans still drew 7,352 fans to the Breslin Center. Watching the game it is clear there is a lot of enthusiam for Spartan basketball and they do some great things to get there fans involved, some things that IU could probably improve greatly with. Maybe with the Hoosiers success more fans will start to come out.
For the Hoosiers i don't want to sound like a broken record, but this game was about balanced scoring, team defense, and the leadership of the upperclassmen to whether the MSU storm when they cut into the Hoosiers lead.
