A bit a bad news to pass along, IU coach Felisha Legette-Jack has suspended sophomore guard Haylie Linn from the team for behavior detrimental to the team.
"We have high expections for our women's basketball program," said Legette-Jack. "Haylie has not met our standards at this time. We believe that Haylie will reflect on her behavior and make the necessary changes so that she can rejoin our team as soon as possible."
Prior to this incident, Linn was just honored for achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 during the fall semester. The Madison, WI native has played in nine games this season (two starts) and is averaging 1.3 points a game.
