Bloomington commemorates World AIDS Day

Around 40 people gathered in the ballroom at Fountain Square Mall on Monday to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have lost their battle to HIV/AIDS.

Many employees of Walmart, the largest private employers in the United States (1), we forced to work on Thanksgiving Day in preparation for Black Friday. Black Friday, which is advertised as being the biggest sale of the year, was actually the biggest shopping day in history (2). This year, however, many Walmart employees went on strike.
