The Indiana Daily Student and Arbutus Yearbook recently won multiple awards at a pair of national conventions: The Fall National College Media Convention, which was held Oct. 29-Nov. 2 in Atlanta, and the College Media Business & Advertising Managers Convention, which took place Oct. 12-14 in Minneapolis.

The Indiana Daily Student and yearbook, Arbutus, were awarded in the creative, editorial and advertising departments by the Indiana Collegiate Press Association this month. These awards entail advertising publication of the year with 10 recognitions, Division I newspaper of the year with 31 recognitions, yearbook of the year with 17 recognitions and second place for website of the year with 8 recognitions.

The eighth annual America’s Role in the World (ARW) foreign policy conference, ‘Raising the Heat on Foreign Policy,’ will be held March 2-3, 2023 at the IU Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies and livestreamed. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, former Secretary of State John Kerry, will open the event virtually from the Our Ocean Conference in Panama, where he is leading the US delegation.

The Indiana Daily Student will host the fall 2022 Housing Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 19 in Alumni Hall, located in the Indiana Memorial Union.
