On Again, Off Again

Patterns are forming with the No. 24 IU men's soccer team, as the alternating wins and losses through the first five games of the year now place the Hoosiers at 2-3 after falling to Brown 2-1 Friday night in Providence, R.I. Forward Andy Adlard put away the lone Hoosier goal, which gave IU a 1-0 lead at the half, but two Brown goals-- the go-ahead with less than eight minutes to play-- were the deciding factor. The Geoff Miller, er, sports section

Believe it or not, we do have a large and talented sports staff at the IDS. But if you read Thursday's paper, you'll think Geoff Miller is our do-it-everything beat reporter. Geoff, our football beat reporter doubling as the baseball reporter while holding an outside job as an auto racing reporter (got that all in one breath?) wrote every story (well, two...but both decently long) in our sports section for Thursday.

Big Ten Network Benefits Field Hockey

Since it first originated, I despised the Big Ten Network. I didn't see it's purpose. Heck, I even joined a Facebook group that was anti-Big Ten Network. Last year I was a sophomore at UIndy.
