Fifth-year senior quarterback Ben Chappell, who completed 24-of-34 for 366 yards and three touchdowns against Western Kentucky on Saturday, was named Big Ten offensive player of the week Monday.
Chappell has been solid in IU's first two games of the season, completing 48-of-65 passes for five TDs and no interceptions. His passsing efficiency rating is a near-perfect 170.0.
