Coach Felisha Legette-Jack has presented her players the challenge of limiting opponents to a ceiling of 59 points -- holding them under 60. "I just think that if we hold people under 60 points, we win the game," she said.

Sophomore guard Ashlee Mells was not present at the IU women's basketball game against Wisconsin Thursday. IU coach Felisha Legette-Jack said she was unaware of Mells' whereabouts and will punish the sophomore guard accordingly. "I don't know where she was, but she's indefinitely suspended," she said. In its first of two matches today, the IU women's tennis team defeated Miami (OH) 4-3. The Hoosiers took four of the six singles matches to overcome their loss of the doubles point and improve to 3-0 on the spring season. In the decisive match, sophomore Megan Matter, who had not been expected to play due to injury, won 6-4, 6-3 to give the Hoosiers the win. The team plays again tonight against Ball State.
You'd think that after two consecutive conference wins - their first Big Ten road win in almost two years - the Hoosiers would be feeling pretty good. But at Saturday's press conference, the players were hesitant to be overconfident. Sophomore guard Verdell Jones said winning doesn't make anything easier. "I've come to learn that the more you win, the more expectations you get," he said.
