In its first of two matches today, the IU women's tennis team defeated Miami (OH) 4-3. The Hoosiers took four of the six singles matches to overcome their loss of the doubles point and improve to 3-0 on the spring season.
In the decisive match, sophomore Megan Matter, who had not been expected to play due to injury, won 6-4, 6-3 to give the Hoosiers the win.
The team plays again tonight against Ball State. More information on both matches to come in Monday's IDS.
