Following his team's 72-70 loss against Illinois, IU coach Tom Crean did a little venting via his twitter account. If you aren't one of the 15,000 people tracking him, here is what the head coach tweeted on the bus ride back to Bloomington.
-Wow! What a tough one. We are just riding home and just crossed the Indiana line. Very quiet and sad bus. I feel awful 4 these guys
-We as coaches have got to help them bounce back. Losing hurt this team. Our locker room was crushed.
-I told them after the game that the way we battled each other and made ourselves accountable to one another after Iowa all week was big.
-Every day was very competitive and each day I cut practice early because of it.
-Jeremiah was given a chance to make a free throw to end practice early on Wednesday and he delivered just like he did today.
-At the timeout Bruce called we reminded him that making those 2 would be the 2nd biggest this week. They loved it.
-Progress is being made in so many ways with this team. There is no greater feeling on game day than being in the locker room with...
-...People who are ready to compete and believe they can win. Thats whats starting to happen more and more. Having a edge and energy are big.
