The IU men's tennis team got Lachlan Ferguson and Santiago Gruter back this weekend, but the Hoosiers are still not completely healthy.

Ferguson, who has been out for over a month with an undisclosed injury, played doubles for the Hoosiers at the Hokie Challenge, but he still has a lot of work to do before he gets into singles action.

IU coach Randy Bloemendaal said Ferguson is getting there, but he still isn't ready.

"He played some good doubles but we still have a ways to go with him," Bloemendaal said. "But he's getting closer."

Bloemendaal said a few other guys on the team were dealing with colds during the tournament but everybody but Ferguson should be ready to go when the regular season opens next week.
