Indiana men’s basketball freshman center Andrej Acimovic entered the transfer portal Monday, according to Verbal Commits. The 6-foot-10, Bijeljina, Bosnia, native did not appear in any games in his lone season with the Hoosiers.

Prior to joining Indiana, Acimovic played in the U19 ABA League, the top league in the Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia region. There, he averaged 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

During his competition in the second Bosnian division, Acimovic posted 17.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. He shot 65.3% from the floor and 39% from the 3-point line. Acimovic was also previously a member of the U16 and U18 Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team.

Acimovic became the sixth Hoosier to enter the transfer portal, joining junior guards Nick DornJason Drake and Jasai Miles, sophomore forward Josh Harris and freshman guard Aleksa Ristic

So far, the Hoosiers have picked up two transfer commits in guards Darren Harris and Jaeden Mustaf.

With 12 players set to depart from the 2025-26 team, Indiana head coach Darian DeVries is tasked with rebuilding his roster entering his second year at the helm. Indiana will look to build on last season’s 18-14 overall and missed NCAA tournament appearance.
