Indiana men’s basketball sophomore forward Josh Harris will enter the transfer portal, per 247Sports’ Travis Branham. Harris was sidelined with a lower body injury that kept him from playing this past season.

Harris transferred to Indiana from the University of North Florida last spring alongside junior guard Jasai Miles, who will also transfer following just one season with the Hoosiers.

As a freshman at North Florida, Harris started 30 games and averaged 13.4 points per game while shooting 55.7% from the field. The 6-foot-8 forward also added 7.1 rebounds per contest. At the end of the 2024-25 season, Harris was a unanimous selection to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Freshman team.

Harris arrived at Indiana as part of head coach Darian DeVries’ 10th-ranked 2025 transfer portal class after no scholarship players returned from the 2024-25 Hoosiers.

After Miles and junior guard Jason Drake, Harris is the third Hoosier expected to depart via the transfer portal. The Hoosiers also have six graduating seniors — all of whom played significant minutes in DeVries’ rotation.

Freshman forward Trent Sisley is staying with the program, and he’ll be joined by a trio of freshman four-star recruits in guard Prince-Alexander Moody and forwards Vaughn Karvala and Trevor Manhertz.

But with nine players leaving, DeVries is tasked with rebuilding the roster again ahead of his second season at the helm.
