Challenging year, exciting future

It’s been a great semester in so many ways, but also one of disappointment from some of our campus’s more visible members. The dishonesty displayed by former men’s basketball coach Kelvin Sampson and the debacle that was the recent IUSA election marred the reputation of all of us. But we believe that the campus is committed to restoring its image and that we must be diligent in moving forward with integrity and pride.

Students cope as gas prices soar to record-high price

As gas prices rise with the temperature, some students are feeling a burn in their wallets. The national average price of regular unleaded gas on Thursday was $3.556 per gallon – a record high, according to AAA.

A 7-2 victory over Indiana State on Wednesday snapped a nine-game losing streak for the IU baseball team (16-22). But keeping the proverbial monkey off the Hoosiers’ backs will be difficult as No. 23 Michigan comes to Sembower Field for a four-game set beginning Friday.
