Today, the federal government is due to start mailing checks to taxpayers in its stimulus package to help boost economic growth. And let me tell you: I’m going to stimulate the hell out of this economy.
It’s been a great semester in so many ways, but also one of disappointment from some of our campus’s more visible members. The dishonesty displayed by former men’s basketball coach Kelvin Sampson and the debacle that was the recent IUSA election marred the reputation of all of us. But we believe that the campus is committed to restoring its image and that we must be diligent in moving forward with integrity and pride.

Two women were shot Saturday morning at Roosters, a bar located at 3000 S. Walnut St., after an altercation between two males at the business had gone awry, according to a Bloomington Police Department press release.
