Column: Homecoming game could make or break season

Saturday’s Homecoming contest with Arkansas State is a make-or-break moment for IU. Win and the Hoosiers are back on the right track, only two games from bowl eligibility. Lose and it becomes a lost season.

The Hoosiers  gained just 68 first-half yards on 29 plays against Ohio State — by far their worst offensive first half output this season.

Pryor has career day against IU defense

Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor threw for a career-high in yards to lead now-No. 1 Ohio State (6-0, 2-0) to a 38-10 win against the Hoosiers (3-2, 0-2) on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.

Agile quarterback Terrelle Pryor and the rest of the second-ranked Buckeyes (6-0, 2-0) had a first-half field day on the IU (3-2, 0-2) defense in a 38-10 win, scoring 31 points before the break.

Record days for Chappell, Doss not enough for IU

Senior quarterback Ben Chappell broke IU records in four categories, and junior wide receiver Tandon Doss posted the third-highest total of all-purpose yards in a game in school history, but neither contribution was enough to dismantle No. 19 Michigan.

IU-Michigan game nears sellout

Only a few tickets remain available for Saturday's home football game between IU and No. 19 Michigan. IU athletics director Fred Glass expects the game to sell out - the first for IU since 2007.
