IU-Michigan game nears sellout

Only a few tickets remain available for Saturday's home football game between IU and No. 19 Michigan.

"We will sell out," IU athletics director Fred Glass said in a statment. "The only question is when."

The remaining tickets will go on sale 9 a.m. Saturday morning in the Assembly Hall ticket office.

The stadium's capacity is 52,929 and the student section's normal allotment of 11,338 tickets has been expanded for Saturday's game.

IU's last sellout came in 2007 for the Old Oaken Bucket game against Purdue when 50,471 fans filled Memorial Stadium.

The IU Athletics Department is advising fans to arrive early to the game, due to expected congestion and road construction on the 45/46 Bypass.
