The IU women's basketball team came out to take pictures and answer questions from the media on Wednesday.
Reporters had the chance to talk one-on-one with players and assistant coaches Wednesday. Be sure to check out our coverage in Thursday's paper or on idsnews.com.
5:54: Just got to the newsroom. We talked to almost every player and coach today and will have several stories on tomorrow's paper and a few more updates tonight.
Below this AP photo is an AP story that ran earlier today. Ex-Hoosier Tracy Porter dislocated his wrist against Minnesota as some of you may have saw.
As the headline of this post alludes to, I have posted some of the more interesting moments to Bill Lynch's weekly press conference. Thoughts on Minnesota: Well we obviously lost a tough one up at Minnesota on Saturday.
The Q & A has wrapped up, and one Sarah Elliot has just won courtside seats to Hoosier Hysteria.
A few weeks back, the big debate among IU fans was whether they would prefer a big man, or the possible services of five-star recruit Dominic Cheek.
In case you missed Tom Crean last night and want to see him in person, or you just can't get enough of him, Crean will be at Foster Quad in the Hoosier Den tonight at 7 p.m.
First off, my deepest apologies for not coming through last night, I didn't run across my notebook until far too late for effective blogging.
Hey folks, This is the first of a couple of posts about my trip to the seven-inning game one of the Cream and Crimson World Series out at Sembower today.
The ever dilligent Zach Osterman chronicled the entire Crean lecture in the post below. I would recommend reading the whole thing, it's pretty solid stuff all the way through.
Here's a neat-o picture of Ray Fisher scoring. I sat down with No. 7 Ray today and had a quick Q&A posted below. Question: Thoughts on some of the offensive troubles of late? Fisher: Really wouldn't say they are troubles.
Hey folks, The computer's dying, so I'm going to have to miss the last couple of questions. Below is the whole live blog, might want to brush your teeth or make a pizza or skim through "War and Peace" before you read it, 'tis lengthy. It's in reverse order, from latest entries to earliest.
Chris Braswell, a four-star power forward and friend/teammate of IU bound Maurice Creek, is off the board.
Just a little reminder, Tom Crean will address the IU Student Body tonight at 7 p.m. inside IU Auditorium. The event is free and I'd recommend anyone on campus with an hour to kill to go hear Crean speak.
Tom Crean has certainly been a busy guy since becoming the men's basketball coach here at IU. But this week may be the most visible and accessable he has been here on campus. In addition to speaking tonight, (see post below) he also will be speaking at Chalk Talk tomorrow night at the Hoosier Den at 7 p.m.
Well- the Minnesota game was just downright ugly for the offensive unit. Lynch's defense, for once, kept the cream and crimson in it but Lewis and company failed to take advantage. Now, the Hoosiers are 2-3 overall, 0-2 in the Big 10 and things are not looking good down the line.
