Ferguson bound for Florida International
Dominique Ferguson has committed to Florida International University for his coming college years. Ferguson, a top-25 recruit for the class of 2010 and five-star prospect, will play for Isiah Thomas, a former NBA star who took the reins of the FIU program in April of 2009. Ferguson is the biggest catch for Thomas' team thus far.

The boys & girls club team up with the Hoosiers.
Today the Hoosiers hosted a Boys & Girls Club event at Memorial Stadium. Players were assigned into different groups with the kids and competed in several different events.

Crean expresses "cautious optimism" about Creek, seems confident in Muniru's arrival
Tom Crean's Twitter account has become a source of news for us as of late. The newest development? The status of Maurice Creek and Bawa Muniru. Crean's Twitter said both are finishing up their work and are waiting on the results of their efforts.

The matchups for Third Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off were just announced (and tweeted by Tom Crean) and IU will face Mississippi in the first round at 5:00 p.m.

Irving plans to cut list; fellow 2010 recruit 'love(s)' Crean
Kyrie Irving, a five-star point guard and IU's top target for 2010, said he plans to cut down his list of schools later this month. "Pretty soon I'm gonna narrow down the schools.

Lynch jokes about Greeks on campus at Big Ten Media Days
Bill Lynch never went Greek, but he experienced sororities and fraternities throughout the spring when he visited the Greek houses around campus with a few of his players. Lynch joked about his experience at the Big Ten Media days. "The sororities were a lot better than the fraternities," Lynch said.

Kirlew makes movie
Spring Break-Up (IU 2009) Jammie Kirlew might have moves on the field, but when it comes to acting, he let receiver Terrence Turner make all the moves. Kirlew's synopsis of the video: "It's pretty much about a couple in college who, they're dating and they break up right before Spring Break and his friends, with a little comic relief, just remind him 'If you want this relationship to work with your girlfriend, you need to get back with her before Spring Break,' Kirlew said.

Illini's Zook talks about Homecoming
21-19. Homecoming. We win. Ben Chappell throws for an upset. The final points shocked IU and Northwestern fans a like. Although the shock wore off through the not-quite-up-to-par end of the season, Lynch & Co. is ready for a fresh start and another Homecoming victory.
