Today the Hoosiers hosted a Boys & Girls Club event at Memorial Stadium. Players were assigned into different groups with the kids and competed in several different events. The kids attempted a much shorter field goal, tug of war, hand off activity, touchdown celebrations, sponge races, a "home run" derby, racing, and tackling.
This was the first year for the event, but Bill Lynch said that they hoped it would become a yearly event for the team.
The kids, as well as the players, looked like they enjoyed the fun filled afternoon. Check out the blog and the ids later this week for some video of the event.
