Men's Soccer vs. Bradley

Butler visits Bill Armstrong Stadium for spring clash

After the IU men’s soccer team’s first spring loss of the season, a 5-3 defeat at the hands of the Bradley Braves this past Sunday, it will play its second game of a three-game home stand Friday against in-state rival Butler.

Bloomington Chamber of Commerce promotes healthy businesses

Since February 2010, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce has granted 13 businesses its Healthy Business Bloomington designation. The initiative is a worksite wellness recognition program for area businesses striving to create a healthy work environment for their employees.

Watercolor Society donates supplies to Henryville schools

On March 2, a tornado slashed through Henryville, Ind., destroying homes, parks and schools and leaving the lives of Indiana residents in its wake. Now, as Henryville begins to rebuild itself, the Bloomington Watercolor Society has stepped in to shed the color needed to light the community back up.

Chris Nix, a volunteer for the center, chalked the sidewalk a few feet away. Nix filmed the wall for most of the day for “Why Are You Here,” an event that allowed individuals to share their stories with the community.
