Politics are still politics

·

Like I said, my opinion as to why Presidwent Obama has finally come around to gay marriage is that he wanted to drop the voters who don’t support it and gain those who do. This immensely streamlines the voting process.

Gay marriages should be state issue

·

If you read through the 4,543 words of our constitution, not once will you see anything about marriage, whether it is between a man and a woman or anything else for that matter. The constitution does not discuss this topic at all.

Officially pro-gay marriage: It's about time

·

Supporting gay rights, as Obama has done (through, for example, the repeal of the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy), is vital. I am overjoyed and proud that he has done so. But the marriage issue is crucial and can only be resolved through drastic change — which means more than just talking.

Wait now over, Hoosiers look for an NCAA breakthrough

·

Friday, IU will look to take the most significant step forward yet in its ongoing pursuit of the “tennis school” moniker, as it stands on the precipice of killing two birds which have eluded Bloemendaal’s cream and crimson squads with one stone: should the Hoosiers defeat Louisville in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament, Bloemendaal and the current crop of Hoosiers would earn both their first NCAA Tournament victory and their first triumph against Louisville.
