Sexual assault at IU: Note from the editor

The past two days, with their own identities hanging in the balance, Lyndsay Jones and Emily Smith spoke out, and everybody seemed to listen. The fact that these two women came forward without the veil of anonymity and addressed the complexities that shroud sexual assault in the manner they did matters a great deal.

Noise laws

Regarding all reported incidents, the Bloomington Police Department abides by a triage system, meaning noise violations are prioritized by the number of officers available to respond as they come through to dispatch.
