After an ongoing drug investigation since February, a Bloomington woman was charged Friday for two separate counts of dealing heroin.
The woman, Mackcena Kirby, 40, was already in the Monroe County Jail for charges unrelated to dealing heroin when undercover informants with the Bloomington Police Department filed charges against her for dealing heroin, BPD Sgt. Lucas Tate said.
Tate said Kirby was arrested April 25 and was then booked into the Monroe County Jail for forgery and theft. She is being charged with felonies for both of her previous arrests.
The case is still active and currently under investigation, Tate said, and he was unable to release specific details.
For dealing heroin, Tate said Kirby faces an A felony and B felony charges for dealing heroin.
