Rowing takes 3rd in Dale England Cup

The IU rowing team finished third in the fifth-annual Dale England Cup on Saturday at Lake Lemon in Bloomington for its final regular season regatta.

In a three-game series with Wisconsin (39-8, 15-5), IU (19-31, 3-16) was outscored by a combined 20-3 margin and was swept for a third consecutive series.

Drouin extends record, close finishes in relays

The atmosphere was charged this weekend at Franklin Field as 48,025 track and field fans cheered at the Penn Relays. IU track and field sent several athletes to Philadelphia to participate in the 118-year-old event.

Women's golf places 5th

The IU women’s golf team fired a round of 303 for the second consecutive day to finish the final day of the Big Ten Tournament in fifth place.

State felony classifications could expand

House Bill 1006, which proposes to expand the state's felony classification system, will move to the governor's desk now after its passage in the General Assembly Friday.

More than half of the people in line were IU students cited for drinking or drug use. But anyone clutching folded white- or pastel-colored citation papers was welcome. They were the minor offenders of the 235 people Indiana State Excise Police arrested on a total of 285 charges.
