Hulls named Mr. Basketball

In November, Jordan Hulls officially signed to play for IU. In March, his high school team completed an undefeated season and won a state championship. On Sunday, he was named Indiana’s Mr. Basketball.

Pitching paves way to series sweep

With his team struggling through the season’s early stages, IU coach Tracy Smith consistently pointed to pitching as one of his its most glaring weaknesses. IU’s weekend series sweep against Iowa, however, saw a markedly different result from the incline.

Active Minds chapter promotes mental health

IU's Active Minds chapter will work to spread mental health awareness at IU through educational campaigns and events. So far they have plans to celebrate National Stress Out Day, which runs Monday through Friday, during which they will offer relaxing activities such as massages and games.

IFC sponsors sexual assault prevention

Sri Lanka to suspend offensives

Sri Lanka’s president ordered a two-day suspension of offensives against Tamil Tiger rebels to enable tens of thousands of trapped civilians to leave the war zone, his office said Sunday.
