MIAMI — Isiah Thomas is back in coaching, and Florida International wound up as his surprising destination. The former IU player and NBA coach was hired to take over FIU's program Tuesday, a move that gives the Hall of Fame player a chance to revive his career.

Documentary to raise awareness about addictions

An up-and-coming documentary concerning addicts and their effect on Bloomington residents will feature freshman Justin Schreiber’s story in April, the national month for alcohol awareness. Junior Deuce Thevenow, co-director of music for the student group Business Careers and Entertainment Club, has been coordinating this documentary.

Indiana proposes sharing surplus cadavers

An increase in human bodies donated to science in recent years has caused the Indiana Anatomical Education Board to ask that an amendment be added to Senate Bill 218. The amendment would allow Indiana to share the surplus of cadavers with other states.


A special Rubik Cube exhibit in the Lilly Library displays a plethora of shapes and sizes of what they call the "best selling puzzle in history." The cube was originally designed by Erno Rubik and "was not so much of a puzzle invention as a design idea, an attempt to reconcile Grand Art and Applied Art," a placard read.
