Jefferson records best Mideast Region time

Senior John Jefferson recorded the fastest Mideast Region time of the season as he helped the Hoosiers track and field team to 14 first-place finishes, 13 personal-best marks and 10 regional qualifying times in their final tuneup before the Big Ten Championships.

The Hoosier football class of 2005 added two more players to NFL rosters as former Indiana running back Chris Taylor signed a rookie free agent contract with the Houston Texans and former Indiana defensive end Ben Ishola signed a rookie free agent contract with the Miami Dolphins on May 5.

Organic-minded visit open air market

Between the aisles of tables packed full of fresh and organic produce at the city of Bloomington Farmers Market, community members were serenaded by the sweet sounds of local musicians and they were dazzled by the twinkle of sunlight reflecting off of local artwork dangling in the breeze Saturday morning.
