Ever sit around and listen to two people discuss the meaning of life over beer and pizza? The conversation is generally disjointed and confusing, leaving significant questions unanswered and coming to no concrete conclusion. Now imagine that same conversation, only this time between two filmmakers. The result? A mess that writers Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel call The Fountain.

And then the cue comes. 15 minutes is all the crew has to paint faces, change wardrobes, swap props, revamp the set and adjust the lights. In the dressing room, echoes of opera music can be heard from the hallways. Moss repaints the faces of four actors in record time, while Riehle rushes around the stage, completely unseen by the audience, adjusting prop placements, getting actors ready to re-enter the stage and making any last second changes. Percy directs it all on the headset.

21 gripes with "24"

After the 24 finale, these are our biggest problems with the season -- one for each episode we actually liked:

Lindsay Lohan has trouble adapting to Fonda and 'Georgia Rule.'

Georgia Rule: B

For Lohan, this movie is definitely an improvement from her former movies like Mean Girls and Just My Luck, though nothing compares to the glory days of The Parent Trap. And although I would still rather have seen someone else in Lohan's role, perhaps director Gary Marshall just couldn't think of another actress with such a natural affinity for playing a spoiled brat.

Black Book: A-

While it is a bit on the hefty side (145 minutes), "Black Book" is an entertaining flick which captures Verhoeven on his road to directorial recovery and the bright, beautiful van Houten on her way to bigger career opportunities.
