'This things I believe': WEEKEND's favorite Simpsons video games

Though it's taken nearly two decades for the Simpson family to hit the big screen, Springfield's favorite family has had a strong presence in the world of video gaming since the days of the NES. Unfortunately, there is an unmistakable cone of suckiness surrounding most of these games. Still, the following three games are perfectly cromulent pieces of Simpsons software.

The Darkness: B+

"The Darkness" is a ray of hope during the summer months when quality game releases tend to drop off. Definitely check it out.

Georgia Perry

Prince of Persia Classic: C

If this game were longer, or a little bit easier (like the "Sands of Times" games), it would be a lot of fun, but as it is you'd be much better off downloading that episode of "South Park" where the Persians take over the lesbian bar instead of spending your points on this.

Forza Motorsport 2: X-BOX 360

If you missed the first "Forza," this is a no-brainer; it's a great driving sim you need to try out. But if you played the hell out of the first one, you might be better off playing it a bit more until there's a price drop in the new one.

IU approves tuition increases

The IU Board of Trustees approved tuition increases for the next two years Monday. The increase calls for in-state undergraduate tuition on the Bloomington campus to increase by 5.1 percent for the 2007-08 school year and by 5.3 percent for 2008-09 school year.
