Indian court issues arrest warrant for Richard Gere

NEW DELHI – A court issued arrest warrants for Hollywood actor Richard Gere and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty on Thursday, saying their kiss at a public function “transgressed all limits of vulgarity,” media reports said.

Dancers, composers fuse ideas in ‘Hammer and Nail’

The Contemporary Dance Program, along with the Student Composers Association, will present “Hammer and Nail 2007, An Evening of Music and Dance” this Friday and Saturday at the John Waldron Arts Center. ATLANTA– Adam is slowly rising from the rocky outcrop, weakly supporting himself on his right arm as God the creator pulls him up by the left hand. A beautiful, flowing Eve rises near them while a curious owl, perched in a fruit tree, looks down and tiny lizards slither below.

Audiences groove at IU Soul Revue

The IU Soul Revue performance Saturday night, at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood, started off with shifting spotlights piercing through the dark of the theater. Pink, blue, yellow and red lights highlighted the stage, which was lined at the back with the band clad in black, sunglasses and rhythm ready.
