Ladies First

WHEN: 8 p.m. Thursday\nWHERE: Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood Ave.\nMORE INFORMATION: Ladies First will present its 8th spring concert Thursday. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.

IU Auditorium presents ‘Aida’

WHEN: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday\nWHERE: IU Auditorium\nMORE INFORMATION: Tickets are $19-$40 for students and $37-$59 for the general public. They can be purchased from the IU Auditorium box office or through Ticketmaster.

The Fuller Project presents: Jesse Kinlaw

WHEN: 9 to 11 p.m. \nFriday \nWHERE: McCalla School Building, Indiana Street and 10th\nMORE INFORMATION: Exhibit by painter Jesse Kinlaw, who received a B.F.A. in art from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.

Straight No Chaser

WHEN: 8 p.m. Saturday\nWHERE: Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood Ave.\nMORE INFORMATION: Men’s a cappella group Straight No Chaser will presents spring concert Saturday. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 day of the show. This event has sold out quickly in the past, so be sure to buy your tickets early.

Awkward Silence Comedy

WHEN: 9 p.m. Thursday\nWHERE: State Room East, 2nd floor of the IMU\nMORE INFORMATION: Awkward Silence Comedy is a short-form improv group that bases scenes on suggestions from the audience. The show is free and open to the public.

African American Choral Ensemble

WHEN: 8 p.m. Saturday\nWHERE: Ruth N. Halls Theatre\nMORE INFORMATION: The African American Choral Ensemble will present annual spring concert Saturday. The ensemble’s repertoire includes spirituals, folk forms, as well as traditional and contemporary gospel music. Tickets are $10 for students and children, $15 for the general public and are available at the IU Auditorium box office.
