Not that I have to tell any of you, but the IU baseball team just finished off a completely dominant week that saw them win four straight games by eight or more runs on the way to their first Big Ten Tournament title in 13 years.
Left-handed freshman Matt Igel will toe the rubber for the Hoosiers tonight, having pitched just 2/3 of an inning last night. Igel is 1-1 with a 6.50 ERA over 18 innings, and he's struck out 17.
The Gophers just defeated Ohio State 9-6, meaning they will get at least one more crack at the Hoosiers in just a few minutes.
A 13-3 win did the trick tonight, as Blake Monar tossed 6 2/3 innings of solid work and Tyler Rogers' bases-clearing triple highlighted a seven-run fifth inning that put IU in the driver's seat, a position it would not relinquish.

One of the two transferring Hoosiers has found a home.
Lawrence North forward Dominique Ferguson told Sean today that he likes IU because the location would make it easy for his parents to attend games, opening a door for Hoosier fans looking for big-name commitments in the 2010 class.

Irving is in town for the adidas May Classic, and is in fact going head-to-head with 2011 commitment Matt Carlino and Indiana Elite One.
