While Indiana football fans have taken over the Rose Bowl and the Peach Bowl throughout the Hoosiers’ College Football Playoff run, they can now pack their own venue on campus in Bloomington.

Indiana Athletics will host a College Football Playoff National Championship game watch party inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, according to a release Tuesday. No. 1 Indiana is slated to face the No. 10 University of Miami at 7:30 p.m. inside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

"We're excited to offer an opportunity for those who aren't able to make the trip to Miami to share this experience with fellow Hoosier fans," Indiana Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Dolson said in the release. "As will be the case at Hard Rock Stadium, I know that the atmosphere inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Monday night will be electric."

All tickets for the free event had been claimed two hours after it was announced, according to Indiana football’s post Tuesday night.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. with all seating being general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Indiana Athletics will distribute 10,000 rally towels for fans as they enter Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Standard game-day policies, such as the clear bag policy, are in effect, while concession stands and the IU Team Store will open at 6 p.m.
