Halftime: Wisconsin 24, Indiana 7
Last week against Iowa, the IU defense allowed a total of 96 rushing yards. Thus far in the Hoosiers' game against Wisconsin, the defense has allowed nearly triple that amount. At halftime of a game that could determine IU's postseason hopes, the Badgers' rushing attack has dominated the Hoosiers, as they trail by a 24-7 margin. Despite starting a quarterback who has not played a snap this season, Wisconsin's offense has been dynamic, producing 274 total yards of offense. The Badgers' rushing duo of James White and Montee Ball has been much of the reason, running for a combined 207 yards and two touchdowns on only 24 carries.

IU's self-report to NCAA on violations involving Jurkin, Mosquera-Perea
Here is the link to the file that the IU athletic department turned in to the NCAA to self-report the secondary violations involving freshmen forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea and center Peter Jurkin: IU's Self-Report to the NCAA. IU first made the report to the NCAA April 25, 2011 after word of the violations first came to the surface April 13 of the same year. The violations involve Mark Adams, an IU alum who graduated in 1980 and from 1986-1992, donated a total of $185 to the IU Varsity Club in the form of seven payments from his then-wife who bought several IU alumna stickers for her car. Adams has not made any donations to IU since 1992, and years later, he developed the nonprofit organization A-HOPE which, according to the nonprofit's website, was created: "to provide deserving student athletes a seamless process of obtaining a student visa, transportation to the United States, making sure they are acclimated to their new environment and providing them with an opportunity to receive an outstanding education." Adams reached out to Mosquera-Perea, a native of Columbia, and Jurkin, a native of Sudan, through this program and helped bring them to the U.S.
Notes on the Jurkin, Mosquera-Perea suspensions
After the initial release of the information about the nine-game suspensions of IU men's basketball freshmen forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea and center Peter Jurkin, more interesting facts have risen to the surface and been clarified: Mark Adams will forever be considered an "IU booster" according to the view of the NCAA which, of course, is the only opinion that really matters in this case.
Jurkin, Mosquera-Perea suspended for nine games by NCAA
After rumors began circulating Tuesday morning, an IU spokesman confirmed that freshmen forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea and center Peter Jurkin will be suspended for the first nine games of this season stemming from a secondary NCAA violation. The violation, which was self-reported by the IU athletic department on June 22, involved Mark Adams, a booster of the IU Varsity Club who donated a total of $185 from 1986 to 1992, before either Jurkin or Mosquera-Perea were born.
Slow start but strong finish keeps the leader in sight for IU
It was a tale of two nines as the Hoosiers struggled early during Monday's first round at the Warrior/Wave Intercollegiate in Princeville, Hawaii, but fought back to end the day in a tie for ninth. Collectively, the Hoosiers shot 13-over-par during the first nine holes, but it was their 2-under-par performance on the back nine that kept the leader, Georgia Southern (283) insight. Senior Michael McGee had said the team needed to get off to a strong start but found himself struggling through the first nine holes, shooting a team high 3-over-par.
