Hardy a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff award

From the IU Media Relations Department: BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana junior wide receiver James Hardy has been named one of 12 semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to the nation's outstanding receiver.

Above The Rock: Indiana v. Ball State

Indiana 38, Ball State 20 - [FINAL] The Hoosiers are bowl eligible for the first time in over a decade, thanks to their victory over Ball State this afternoon, 38-20. Ending their three-game losing streak, the Hoosier's offense clicked today.

Zeller to Decide Monday

According to the Herald-Times, IU recruit Tyler Zeller will make his announcement Monday at 2 p.m. Most people believe the decision will come down between three schools - UNC, IU and Purdue. Right now there are no clues to what Zeller will do.

New poll, same old story. The Associated Press has IU ranked No. 9, right behind Michigan State. The ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll had MSU 8 and IU 9, also. Thoughts?

In the wake of the Ice Miller report and Senderoff's resignation, many fans have been asking how this will affect recruiting for coach Kelvin Sampson and the Hoosiers.

Senderoff to receive $46K

Former assistant IU men's basketball coach Rob Senderoff will receive $46,000 in compensation per the terms of his resignation, according to Senderoff's severance agreement with the University, obtained by the Indiana Daily Student today pursuant to an Indiana Open Records request. As part of the agreement, Senderoff cannot speak publicly about the agreement or its terms. Senderoff resigned Monday, the day before the University released a report detailing his involvement in as many as 113 impermissible phone calls that resulted in University sanctions. Per the agreement, the University will "not state or represent that (Senderoff's) resignation was the result of any violation of NCAA Bylaws." Senderoff will receive an additional $19,915.13 for salary he had earned, but not yet received. He was scheduled to receive $110,000 this year.

Players Only Meeting

Before their practice on Tuesday the Hoosier seniors called a players only meeting. Junior wide receiver James Hardy said he and senior captain Josiah Sears spoke to the team - While I can't report on what Sears said, Hardy gave me some insight as to what they talked about. "The seniors called it and me and Josiah spoke in front of the team, we just got to get it back on track and get everybody to have fun," Hardy said.

The official word on Senderoff

Here is the two sentence release from IU athletics: "Rob Senderoff has decided it is in his and Indiana University's best interests that he voluntarily resign from the University.
