Latest Hardy, Porter Projections

Both Todd McShay and Mel Kiper Jr, the two draft guru's for ESPN, have former IU wide receiver James Hardy going in the first round to the San Francisco 49ers, who have the 29th pick in the draft. Neither of them have former cornerback Tracy Porter going in the first round of the draft, but both expressed earlier that Porter has impressed scouts as of late, and from everything i've read Porter should expect to be selected the first day of the draft. With the NFL combine rapidly approaching, a lot can change, be sure to keep tabs on UndertheRock and we'll keep you updated if anything changes for last year's IU captain, (Porter) and MVP (Hardy.)

I was just reading what the local and national media had to say about Sampson. I think the overwhelming consensus -- from the IDS Editorial Board to writers at the Chicago Sun-Times -- from today's articles is that Sampson should be fired.
