Storyteller Antonio Rocha will perform “The Immigrant: Celebrating 30 Years in the U.S.A.” at 7 pm on Saturday over Zoom. The performance is organized by Storytelling Arts of Indiana, a nonprofit organization.

Rocha’s performance, a combination of mime and spoken word, will address his experience of immigration, according to a press briefing by Storytelling Arts of America. He’ll describe his first impressions of the United States, learning English, his first winter and earning citizenship.

“I was a Brazilian dreaming of going abroad to study mime,” Rocha said. “I found myself on the edge of possibility if I could make it happen. Little did I know how much more lay ahead.”

Rocha began working in the performing arts in 1985. He’s performed in 16 countries on six continents and has been featured in National Geographic, the Smithsonian Institute and the Kennedy Center, among others.

Tickets will be $20 for individuals and $30 for households. Tickets can be purchased online.
