Fossett completes flight around the world

Racism comes from ignorance I want to start out with a quote that I feel everyone should reflect on and consider: "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." So I would like for Warren Christopher Freiberg to go back to that article he wrote about Black History Month being racist (March 2) and think about these powerful words by Anaïs Nin (of whom I am sure you are totally unaware). Think about reflecting on yourself when you are saying "Black History Month is racist".

At Aldi Grocery stores, a discount grocery store, you collect boxes from the aisles to put your grocery items in, instead of plastic bags. It's a pretty competitive thing, so you have to be quick, but it isn't exactly luxurious.

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels has claimed Democrats "car-bombed" legislation because they vacated the Statehouse Tuesday in protest of perceived "GOP power grabs." Republicans narrowly control the Statehouse for the first time in eight years, but 67 members must be on the House floor to provide a quorum to conduct legislative business. The first half of the 2005 legislative session concluded Wednesday with more than 100 bills marinating in the Statehouse.

'Diary' equal parts muddled, masterful

Yes it's mushy, clichéd and over-the-top, but writer Tyler Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" has heart. This crowd-pleaser is based on one of Perry's seven highly successful plays and judging simply from the cheers and laughter from the audience, he did something right.
