Women compile 27 wins at home

The women’s tennis team spent the three-day weekend at the IU tennis complex playing host to the IU adidas Winter Invitational. The Hoosiers squared off against Louisville, Marquette and Missouri during the invitational. This event was an chance for the team to shake off the rust for the first time this semester after long winter break.

MLK Committee presents "The Meeting"

At 4 p.m. Sunday in the Whittenberger Auditorium, the IU Bloomington MLK, Jr. Day Celebration Committee is honoring each man’s role in the resistance with a complimentary performance of “The Meeting.” A reception celebrating each man’s life and death will follow in the University Club.

Smith lights up Hoosiers for career high

Ohio State had four starters that were ranked in the top 100 in CBSSports.com’s Preseason Top 100 College Players. Lenzelle Smith, Jr. was not one of them. The sophomore guard — who came in averaging 5.2 points per game — scored a career-high 28 points to lead the Buckeyes past IU, 80-63 Sunday night at Value City Arena.
