The IU hockey team will get a second chance at a conference title this weekend. The Hoosiers will travel to Rochester, Mich., to play for the Great Midwest Hockey League tournament title.
IU (15-8-1, 5-4-1) missed a chance at a regular season title last weekend with a 6-2 loss to Oakland University (20-6-4, 7-2-1). The victory moved Oakland ahead of Michigan for sole possession of first place. Michigan held on to second place and, along with Oakland, received a bye in the first round of the six-team GMHL tournament.
