The 2026 Indiana primary election took place Tuesday.
Local offices up for election included county assessor, clerk, district 1 commissioner and prosecutor. Representative seats for Indiana House and Indiana’s 9th U.S. Congressional District were also on the ballot.

Prosecutor — Erika Oliphant, incumbent
Assessor — Judith Sharp, incumbent
Clerk — Tree Martin-Lucas
House District 61 — Matt Pierce, incumbent
County Commissioner District 1 — Trent Deckard
Republicans
House District 46 — Bob Heaton, incumbent
