Zeller finishes season with honorable mention AP All-American status

The list of accolades continues for freshman forward Cody Zeller. He earned an honorable mention Associated Press All-America honor on Monday. He is the 42nd Hoosier to share All-American honors and is just the second freshman in school history to earn that honor. Eric Gordon was the first in 2008.

New legislation caps undergraduate programs at 120 hours

The new legislation, which will take effect July 1, will require public four-year colleges in Indiana to limit bachelor’s degree programs to 120 credit hours. These 120 credit hours are equivalent to a full-time student taking 15 credit hours per semester for a four-year period.

Though Record Store Day isn’t until April 21, excitement has already ensued. Desired lists of albums, singles and splits are being jotted down by anticipating customers. Don’t think of it as crazy. Think of it as a lot of nerdy music lovers making their presents list for a Christmas in April.

Pap smears guidelines may change

New guidelines from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, an independent advisory panel for clinical services, and the American Cancer Society, along with two other medical societies, recommend that healthy women ages 21 to 29 only need cervical cancer screenings every three years.
