IU aims to end slide against Purdue

In advance of a weekend series with Big Ten-leading Purdue in West Lafayette, IU coach Tracy Smith said his team’s recent skid might have more to do with the nature of baseball than with any shortcomings by the Hoosiers (25-16, 6-6).

Bailey thriving in first outdoor season

As a freshman on the track and field team, she was coached in consistency and how to perform every day at a high level. When Bailey was recruited, IU coach Ron Helmer saw her potential to be a great athlete who could put up strong numbers. Now that Bailey is in her sophomore season and first outdoor season, Helmer said she has learned how to perform consistently.

Dodgeball match postponed for Friday

The past few weeks have been filled with rain. As I write this column, it is raining and I am unmotivated beyond belief. The only thing keeping me going is the fact that in a week I will be done with this semester. Done with the stress and multi-tasking that have become my life. And without all the stress, I will be able to focus on what really matters in life: good music.
