The Hoosiers captured their first outright Big Ten regular season title since 1932 with an 8-1 victory Saturday at Bill Davis Stadium’s Nick Swisher Field by scoring six runs through the first three innings.

After carding a four-man score of 318 Saturday at the NCAA Regional in Fayetteville, Ark., the IU men’s golf team saw its season come to an end, as it finished 13th out of 14 teams with a plus 67 for the 54 holes played Thursday through Saturday.

McRobbie departs on East Asia trip

IU President Michael A. McRobbie left IU May 18 for a 15-day trip to East Asia to strengthen IU’s ties to South Korea, China and Taiwan, according to a press release.
