Stop being pimped

·

Let's get things straight. I don't like Robert Johnson, the creator of Black Entertainment Television, nor do I like the Reverend Jesse Jackson. But before we discuss Johnson and Jackson, let's play a little game of "Ghettopoly."

Managers play big role for Hoosiers

·

You won't find their names on the stat sheet following a game. In fact, they haven't seen action in a match in their college careers. Yet they are considered members of the team. No drama needed in this LBC

·

I don't want to say I'm sorry/ I just want to drink beer and play Atari." The lyric embodies the newest cut from Chicago's neo-reggae punk-pop quintet Lucky Boys Confusion. With Commitment, the band provides a 45-minute punch of power-pop with a reggae twist.

Jesus takes on machines ... again

·

In 1999 when The Matrix debuted, it was rightfully declared an instant classic. This past summer came The Matrix Reloaded. The flick didn't connect with audiences or critics nearly as well as its predecessor did though I dug it.

Pink Floyd shines in new dvd

·

Just two years before Dark Side of the Moon, Pink Floyd was in its prime with most of its famous lineup still intact. The original members, minus founding guitarist Syd Barrett, are featured in the new Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii (The Director's Cut) DVD and for that reason alone it is worth checking out.
