Like many IU freshman, Keira has a job to help pay for school. Unlike most freshman, her job involves taking her clothes off in front of a camera. Keira is the star of www.teenkeira.com, an adult Web site hosted by the webmaster Orange Image, which features topless and semi-nude pictures of her in a dorm room and shower inside Briscoe-Shoemaker. The Web site provides access to photos and Keira's journal for $24.95 per month.

Huskies hustle Ga. Tech for title

SAN ANTONIO -- The Connecticut Huskies really do have it all -- the All-America center, the flashy guards, the coach who gets everything right, and now a national title won with ease. Led by 24 points from Emeka Okafor and 21 from Ben Gordon, the Huskies outclassed Georgia Tech 82-73 Monday night to win the championship many predicted they'd get from the very start of the season. They looked like champions from beginning to end, running when they wanted, controlling the middle at other times, grabbing just about every loose ball and making the Yellow Jackets look ordinary. UConn became the first team since the 1996 Kentucky Wildcats to win the title after being ranked first in the preseason. The Huskies wound up on top of the college basketball world, thanks to a tall, quick, deep and talented roster put together by Calhoun.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - U.S. administrators in Iraq declared a radical Shiite cleric an "outlaw" Monday and announced a warrant for his arrest, heightening a confrontation after battles between his supporters and coalition troops killed at least 52 Iraqis and nine coalition troops, including eight Americans.

Health Center offers discount on birth control, medications

For many years, the IU Health Center has offered students medication at discounted prices. Some wonder why and how the Health Center has such discounted costs on birth control and other medications. Pharmacy Director Cheryl Thomas said the cheap prices have to do with the government. "We have a government contract that is usually given to universities and health clinics like Planned Parenthood by the manufacturers," Thomas said.

IU approves tight budget

The IU board of trustees approved the University's budget for 2004-2005 Friday, which includes a 2.4 percent net increase in projected revenues. But in economic reality, the University has almost zero dollars to expand and invest for the next academic year.

Alcohol arrests drop on campus

While alcohol and drug arrests at IU have decreased in the last year, IU officials, police and store owners remain cautious about causes and implications of the decline. Dean of Students Richard McKaig said he believes it would be a good idea to withhold judgment on these statistics for at least another year or two.

NO SLEEP FOR A JEEP

One lucky person with cold, chapped lips walked away from Delta Upsilon with a brand new jeep Saturday, and all he had to do was kiss the car. But this prince of an idea turns frog in a second when one realizes the winner of the Fifth annual Delta Upsilon/ Kappa Delta Jeep Kiss-Off had to stand for 30 hours, part of the time on one leg, to win the prize. The lucky winner, freshman Brian Laiderman of Alpha Tau Omega, stood for 30 hours glued to the Jeep. He won after the only other standing contestant, sophomore Mary Rothring, collapsed from exhaustion, though she is now fine.

Hilfiger greeted fans Friday at the Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis to introduce his new upscale clothing line, H Hilfiger. The new collection came out of a need for a luxurious line that catered to adults and to boost declining sales in his mens' line, Hilfiger said.
