Indiana men’s basketball’s roster continues to take form for the 2026-27 season, as it added its 11th scholarship player Friday. German center Clemons Sokolov committed to the Hoosiers, his agents told DraftExpress.

The 18-year-old is listed at 6-foot-11 by Eurobasket. Sokolov averaged 6.4 points and 5.0 rebounds in 23 minutes per game in Pro B Germany. In 2024-25, he averaged 5.5 points and 3.7 rebounds for the Fitness First Wuerzburg Baskets.

Sokolov also has experience playing for Germany in the FIBA U17 World Cup and FIBA U18 World Cup.

The Hoosiers currently hold the No. 4 ranked incoming transfer class according to 247Sports and are ranked 25th in ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25 rankings. The Cream and Crimson will also add three freshmen from the high school recruiting class and return freshman forward Trent Sisley.

Indiana will look to build on head coach Darian DeVries first year at the helm that fell short of an NCAA Tournament appearance. The Hoosiers will now have just a few spots left to fill before their roster is set for the 2026-27 season.
