Men's soccer defeats Massachusetts, 2-1

The IU men’s soccer team defeated Massachusetts, 2-1, Sunday in Amherst, Mass. Junior forward Will Bruin put the Hoosiers (2-3) on the scoreboard in the 51st minute.

A speedy start gave way to a brief sense of concern on the IU sideline before the Hoosiers righted the ship and cruised to a 38-21 victory Saturday night at Western Kentucky after a 16-day layover from the season opener.

Senior quarterback Ben Chappell threw for 366 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead IU to a 38-21 victory against Western Kentucky. For Western Kentucky, it's the team's 23rd loss in a row.

Men's soccer falls 2-1 to Brown

Patterns are forming with the No. 24 IU men’s soccer team, as the alternating wins and losses through the first five games of the year now place the Hoosiers at 2-3 after falling to Brown 2-1 Friday.
